| At Mahindra Satyam Foundation, we believe that amazing things happen when people come together. This is the core belief on which all initiatives of The Foundation are established. With a passionate and energetic workforce ready to contribute their bit to the well-being of the society, volunteering becomes a way of life in Mahindra Satyam. Volunteering coupled with technology, the two key differentiators of the Foundation, are used to tackle the various social disparities plaguing our society, with consistent positive outcomes. |
| Mahindra Satyam Foundation carries out its programs based on the following three-tier model: |
| A base of large number of volunteer-driven events: Large number of volunteers (requiring generic skill, small time-commitment, one-time volunteering also fits in). |
| A narrower next level of activities: Higher volunteer engagement (specific skill, longer time duration, ongoing): Magnificent seven (M7) volunteers and full time volunteering. |
| A top-level of advocacy for right causes at right places, using Mahindra Satyam strengths. |
| Magnificent Seven (M7) - A Unique Approach to Volunteering |
| In line with Mahindra Satyam’s standards of quality, Mahindra Satyam Foundation has initiated a unique process to improve efficiency in volunteering projects, by using the full-cycle leadership concept. |
| The Magnificent Seven (M7) is a team of seven or more volunteers, who take ownership of a project under a program. The team identifies requirements and provides full-cycle leadership to the identified project, and implements it with other volunteers and Foundation members. We have 15,000 registered volunteers, 500 Magnificent Seven-teams, crossing 850,000 volunteer hours. |
| The remarkable successes of our M7 teams across our chapters—Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Bhubaneswar—acts as an inspiration for all to do more. |
| Mahindra Satyam Foundation offers a range of volunteering opportunities in the areas of Education, Livelihoods, Health, Empowering Persons with Disability and Environment. |
