Global Delivery: Managing Collaboration Dependencies

Global economic pressures, increased competition, shorter cycle time for development and implementation, and economics of “global village” have increasingly motivated organizations to make the best use of resources across the time zones and continents by means of broadband and internet technologies to execute software projects through distributed teams. Global delivery aims to blend “Onsite - Offsite - Near shore - Offshore” delivery teams synergistically to optimize outsourcing infrastructure and management effort to reap the global economics of scale.
